People with kids…lets debate.
We all see your honor roll bumper stickers, selling candy for the basketball team, and making signs for the cheerleaders but what about when you legit have a little bail jumper? Who is responsible when you have a bad ass, trouble making kid?
Now so long as a person is under age 18 they are under direct care of a parent/guardian. You are responsible for the well being and care of the child. Yes when a child gets older they should at this point been taught right from wrong, but if they don’t, whose fault is that?
Responsible: having an obligation to do something, or having control over or care for someone, as part of one’s job or role.
Until age 18, parents are like cosigners on a kids life. Ultimately yes, they are their own person, and can begin to make their own decisions but until that time comes your parent is there to make sure it does happen.
Should parents be held morally and legally responsible for the actions of their under 18 child?
