Hood Reform Rules



Welcome to a new segment I’m starting, AKA Etiquette, professional development training or “how to fit blend into the socially acceptable norm” because, at some point, most of you have to interact with other people and situations outside of the hood. There is no doubt in my mind this topic will require SEVERAL posts so it doesn’t really matter where I begin.

Appearance matters!! It truly is the first impression. People are visual, we want what looks good. There is a reason sex sells.

People are all for individuality and self-expression, it adds to the character and diversity, however, your face and appearance also add (or removes) from your value. Certain expressions can be frightening, intimidating, offensive to other cultures. 









Yes, you need to own at least ONE suit! Stop calling it the “court” suit, or the church suit, it’s just a suit! You can’t go wrong with these colors: navy blue, black, gray and brown.
