Something to prove

Okay Sugas, I’ve gotta help a few of you who are doing more harm than good to your image. The best lesson I can give is to SHUT UP! Not everyone needs (or cares) to know what you’re doing, how you feeling, what blessings you’ve gotten, and its not that their jealous or don’t care about you, its just not everyone needs to know everything. Never let your left hand know what your right is doing.

There are definitely only 2 Secrets of Success (relationships, business, raising kids ect)….

Rule # 1. Never tell any one all you know…..
Rule # 2….

Yes there will be a point where you learn to ‘rise & grind’, someone dumps you, you get passed up for a promotion at work and people will just flat out not believe in you: welcome to the real world.

Now don’t get me wrong, some of these cute inspirational messages are a good read, but your inspiration and what gets you going should be yours. Putting up all these statuses, pictures is usually seen as advertisement. Humility is key! There are ways to share experiences in your life without appearing to be bragging or making it obvious the real reason you’ve decided to share.

Stop trying to provoke some kind of reaction about what could possibly be the source of your joy/anger/itching sensation. It smells desperate. Just out with it already, the suspense is NOT killing us.

my friend's stone for remembering what God taught him recently

As much attention you’re drawing to yourself to tell people how great you are, how hard you work and how much you “don’t care about what other people think”, you must understand just as much attention is on you watching & waiting on you to fail. When you’re living, just living your life you don’t need to make little sneak attempts at selling people where you are in life. Yes, we see you. Yes, we think you’re bragging for no reason. Yes, someone doesn’t believe you. Yes, someone is rooting/expecting you to fail. I cant help but wonder, why you’re overselling yourself or this dream. If you are the things you preach to be, you don’t need, and shouldn’t have so much time to be telling people because you’re too busy doing it.

Unless it directly affects someone else, what you do with your life is your business, and what other people think of you is not your business. When you go out and execute you get to look like you came out of nowhere and exploded onto the market.

People like to see you doing well, but never better than them.

“A session of boasting won’t attract any real friends.  It will set you up on a pedestal, however, making you a clearer target.”  ― Richelle E. Goodrich, Smile Anyway

  1. Lol and I was just about to post a gym picture. Lol thamk youmfor popping my bubble 😦

    • NO GYM PICS!!! How are you working out if you have time to take a pictures?!?

      • Thats the beautiful part. Im working out while my gym buddy is taking it for me. :p so I think I get a pass on that one right? Besides I think mirrored gym selfies are gay. (Not talking about anyones’ sexual preferences either.)

      • LOL, I’ll give you a half of a pass for that, only because still, the gym is not a place for a photo shoot, people can see the results of your hard work in person. There is no need to advertise that you’re in the gym, unless its your job (one that actually pays)

  2. Lol but every time I try to get you to feel my belly you shank me. Lol

  3. Lol, nothing wrong with being a creep every now and then. Its like balance. Lmao. And its not feeling up lol its just rubbing my belly. (Last part in rick ross voice. )
